N991 “SCINT BOND”

The N991 product is targeted specifically for the medical and weapons laboratories that generate radiated and mixed waste in vials. It contains blended polymers designed specifically for the production bonding of Ultimagold and toluene based scintillation fluids.. The N991 product line includes a fully enclosed grinder machine and the N991 bonding agent. (The container is supplied by the user). The grinder cuts up the vials with the liquid waste and is then poured into the container for solidification. N991provides a safe one-step process for waste disposal.

Scintillation fluids are essential within the nuclear complex. Nochar Inc. brings customers scint bonding agents that ensure the safe absorption and congealing of these fluids, so they’re ready for transport and proper disposal. Our Nochar N991 scint cleanup product has been used to collect and transport Scintillation waste at nuclear sites across the country and around the world. N991 is an environmentally friendly, cost-effective absorbent product that meets Department of Energy (DOE) standards for hazardous waste control and disposal. N991 is highly effective against a range of liquid waste products—even more effective than traditional clay, concrete, bitumen, and similar products.

About Nochar N991

Our N991 product is targeted specifically for the medical and weapons laboratories that generate radiated and mixed waste in vials. It contains blended polymers designed specifically for the production bonding of Ultima Gold™ and toluene-based scintillation fluids. Our N991 product line includes a fully enclosed grinder machine and the N991 bonding agent (container supplied by the user). The grinder cuts up the vials with the liquid waste, which is then poured into the container for solidification. N991 provides a safe one-step process for waste disposal. Nochar N991 polymer crystals have been found to be non-toxic, non-biodegradable, and incinerable to less than 0.02% ash with an absorbent capacity of up to 15:1 (oil–to–solidification agent ratio by weight). Pick up ratio and speed of solidification vary with the type of liquid being bonded, along with the number of volatiles remaining, temperatures and the viscosity of the liquid.
