Nochar incorporated in 1986 as a one product company.  Nochar’s Fire Preventer (NFP) is a State-of-the-Art fire retardant, which works on all natural fiber materials (paper, wood, cotton, charcoal, etc).  NFP quickly established itself as a highly effective and non-toxic product to reduce flame spread/flammability on these natural fiber materials.

In 1991, Nochar introduced additional fire safety Products to the market.  A thermal barrier paste technology and a revolutionary polymer gel designed to fight wildfires without creating toxic bi-products, which could be released into the environment.
